History of the Estate

The Antica Tenuta Le Piane is an historical property belonging to the Marchesi  Pasqualetti Ricci family. A noble and antique family originating from the city of Ferrara, from the 1300s. Its ancestors where military officers, judges and bishops. Following historical events in the 1600s, the ancestor Luigi Pasqualetti Ricci settled in the area after armed conflict and defense of the city of Amandola forced the family to relocate.

Since 1996, Alessandra the last heir of the family has dedicated extensive work to renovate the estate and preserving its history, heritage and its traditions. The renovations have fully preserved the original features guaranteeing an exclusive experience for its guests to go back in time and immerse themselves in the unspoiled nature of an authentic Marche.

The Estate Today

The Estate today represents an exclusive oasis away from our daily frenetic lives where it’s possible to enjoy the silence and beauty of the Marche hills.

The estate is over 150 acres and a few kilometers from the beautiful small medieval towns of Amandola and Sarnano. The Estate offers a stunning panorama of the Sibillini mountains with woodlands, ancient trees  and nature trails offering  unique fauna and botanical views.
